1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment with, or using the website of, Faces by Gauri Makeup Artist (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Studio”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not book with us.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Faces by Gauri Makeup Artist, Mukerian, Punjab.
2. Services We Offer
We are a makeup and beauty studio specialising in Arabic makeup since 2018. Our services include signature bridal luxury makeup, Arabic makeup, party and glam makeup, hairstyling and hair extensions, saree and dupatta draping, facials and skin treatments, manicure and pedicure, nail extensions, and waxing.
Service descriptions on our website are indicative. Because every face, skin type and hair texture is different, the exact products and techniques used are chosen by the artist on the day. We may add, modify or withdraw services at any time.
3. Bookings and Appointments
3.1 How to book
Appointments can be booked through our website, or by phone and WhatsApp on +91 70871 03778 and +91 79732 87699. Online bookings require a valid name, email address and 10-digit Indian mobile number so we can reach you about your appointment.
3.2 Instant confirmation
Slots booked through our website are confirmed immediately — there is no waiting for approval. Your booking reference is shown on screen as soon as the slot is held, so please note it down or take a screenshot. We will contact you directly if anything about your appointment needs to change.
3.3 Limited availability
We deliberately take a limited number of clients each day so that every booking receives our full attention. Once a time slot is taken it is no longer offered to anyone else.
3.4 Arriving on time
Please arrive at your scheduled time. Arriving late may shorten your service or require rescheduling, as a delay affects every client booked after you.
4. Advance Payment and Pricing
4.1 50% advance
A 50% advance is required to secure your date and time. This advance is non-refundable, as holding your slot means turning away other clients for the same time. The balance is payable on the day of your service.
4.2 Prices
Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees and are confirmed with you at the time of booking. Prices may change from time to time, but a confirmed booking is always honoured at the price quoted to you.
4.3 Payment methods
We accept cash, UPI and bank transfer. We do not collect card or payment details through this website — no online payment is taken at the time of booking.
4.4 What is and isn't included
Premium products, contact lenses, lashes, hairstyling, hair extensions, hair accessories and draping are included in the relevant packages. Nails and nail paint are not included in makeup packages and can be arranged separately on request.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Shows
5.1 Cancelling
Please tell us at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to cancel. The 50% advance is non-refundable in all cases.
5.2 Rescheduling
We will do our best to move your booking to another date or time if you tell us at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. Rescheduling with less notice may not be possible, particularly on wedding dates.
5.3 If we have to cancel
In the rare event that we must cancel due to illness, emergency or circumstances beyond our control, you may choose a full refund of your advance or a rescheduled appointment at no extra cost.
5.4 No-shows
If you do not arrive for your appointment and have not contacted us, the advance is forfeited and the slot is released.
6. On-Location and Travel
We travel to venues and homes for bridal and event bookings. Travel charges are not included in package prices and are quoted separately based on the distance to your venue. Please confirm the venue address with us when booking.
For on-location services, please arrange a well-lit area with a plug point, a table and a chair. Poor lighting or cramped space can affect both the time taken and the finish of the look.
7. Skin, Health and Allergies
Please tell us before your appointment about any allergies, skin sensitivities, recent treatments or medical conditions affecting your skin, scalp or hair. If you are unsure how your skin will react, ask us for a patch test in advance.
We follow strict hygiene practices, including sanitising tools and brushes between clients. We may decline to perform a service where we believe it could harm your skin or health.
8. Photographs and Portfolio
We often photograph finished looks for our portfolio, website and social media. Please let us know before or during your appointment if you would prefer not to be photographed — we will always respect that, and it does not affect your service in any way.
Where we do use your photographs, we will not publish your full name or contact details alongside them without your explicit consent.
9. Website Content
All content on this website — including our logo, portfolio images, service descriptions and written copy — belongs to Faces by Gauri Makeup Artist unless otherwise credited, and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our liability in connection with any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for adverse reactions where you did not disclose a relevant allergy or condition, or where standard professional practice was followed.
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our reasonable control, including travel disruption, illness or natural events.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Punjab, India.
12. General
12.1 Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and the Studio.
12.2 Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply in full.
12.3 Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.
