Faces by Gauri Makeup Artist ("we," "us," "our") is a makeup and beauty studio in Mukerian, Punjab. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us when you book an appointment or get in touch.

This Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored, and the choices you have. By booking with us or using this website, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect what we actually need to deliver your appointment. When you book a slot on this website or contact us, that is:

• Your full name
• Your email address and 10-digit mobile number, so we can confirm and reach you about your appointment
• Your booking details — the service chosen, the studio, and the date and time of your slot
• Any notes you choose to add, such as the look you want or a venue address for on-location bookings

We do not ask for health or medical information. If you voluntarily tell us about a skin sensitivity, allergy or recent treatment, we use it only to deliver your service safely and we do not share it with anyone.

3. We Do Not Take Payments Online

This website does not process payments. No card number, UPI ID, CVV, bank detail or any other financial information is ever entered on, collected by, or stored on this site.

Your 50% advance and the balance are settled directly with the studio by cash, UPI or bank transfer. If anyone ever asks you to enter card details on a page claiming to be ours, it is not us — please call us on the numbers below.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Confirm your booking and hold your time slot
• Contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about your appointment — for example to confirm a venue, or to let you know if something has to change
• Prepare properly for your service, including any preferences you have shared
• Keep basic business records as required by law

We never sell your information, and we do not use it to send marketing messages you did not ask for.

5. Where Your Data Is Stored and How It Is Protected

Booking records are stored in an access-controlled, encrypted database hosted by our infrastructure providers, and the website itself is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Administrative access is limited to the studio owner and protected by a password that is stored only as a cryptographic hash — never in readable form.

While we take these measures seriously, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Photographs and Use of Images

Makeup artistry is a visual craft, and our portfolio is how new clients find us. With your consent, we may photograph or film your finished look for our website, portfolio and social media.

You can decline photography — before, during or after your appointment — simply by telling us. It will never affect the service you receive. Where we do publish your photographs, we will not attach your full name or contact details without your explicit consent, and we will remove an image on request.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they use, so we can improve it. This measures visits, not people — it does not build an advertising profile of you and we do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.

The site also stores a small amount of data in your browser to remember practical things, such as whether you dismissed the app install prompt. You can clear or block this at any time in your browser settings; the booking flow will still work.

8. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who make the website work — our website host, our database host, and the email service that delivers your booking confirmation — and only to the extent needed to provide that service. Each is bound by its own confidentiality and data protection obligations.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

9. Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete your booking record once your appointment has passed. Just contact us on the details below and we will action it. We may ask you to confirm your identity first so we do not disclose your details to someone else.

10. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep booking records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our accounting and legal obligations, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to delete your details sooner and we have no legal reason to keep them, we will.

11. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this site. Where a service is booked for a minor — for a family function, for example — the booking must be made by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the details provided.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes appear on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
